Holly A. Mulherin, P.e., President
Holly has 15 years of experience in the design and construction of geotechnical engineering projects. She is experienced and knowledgeable of AASHTO, MDOT, the MMUTCD, Field Manager, and MTM Standards, procedures and methods.

JAMES T. NORDLUND, JR., P.E, VICE PRESIDENT
Jim has over 20 years of experience in soils exploration and foundation design, embankment excavation stability, ground improvements, grouting, mechanically stabilized earth walls and slopes. He is experienced and knowledgeable of AASHTO, MDOT, Field Manager, and MTM standards, procedures and methods.

CRAIG R. STAPELY, P.S., SURVEY MANAGER
Craig R. Stapley is the survey manager at Nordlund & Associates. He graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in Surveying Engineering in 1992 and became a licensed land surveyor in 2000. Prior to joining Nordlund & Associates the spring of 2019 he was the survey manager of the Abonmarche Inc. office located in Manistee. Craig has been doing survey work in Northern Michigan and surrounding areas for over 30 years and typically completes all aspects of survey field and office work.
Craig has been responsible for managing the land survey operations including daily estimating, CAD drawings, client communications, courthouse research, LCRC documents, subdivision and condo platting, legal descriptions, expert witness testimony and employee scheduling. Additionally, he often completes field work including but not limited to engineering topographic surveys, land divisions, county remonumentation work, FIMA elevation surveys, precise monitor well surveys, construction staking and street sewer and water project surveys.
Craig sits on the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors Norther Chapter board of directors and practices continuing education on a yearly basis. He is also HAZWOPER certified in accordance with Federal OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.120.
JAMES T. NORDLUND, SR., P.E., P.S. CONSULTANT
Jim has over 40 years of professional experience in the geotechnical engineering field. His career emphasis has been in design, construction inspection, construction staking, construction materials testing, quantity surveys, and calculation of construction quantities. He also has expert-level familiarity with AASHTO, MDOT, MMUTCD, Field Manager and MTM standards, specifications, and procedures.

His professional background also includes five years of experience with George E. Snyder Associates of Jackson, Michigan and five years of experience with the California Department of Water Resources.
JAMES DILLINGHAM, SENIOR TECHNICIAN
Senior Technician, has extensive experience in the laboratory and field-testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate. He has worked in the testing field continuously for 33 years and has complete and total knowledge of testing and materials utilized in the transportation and construction industry. He is experienced with MDOT testing procedures and Field Manager software.
